Kim lives in Northern California with her husband Philip and their 4 children. She is the founder and editor of ICP and its sister site Catholic Attachment Parenting Corner. For many years, she was a regular contributor on the topic of Catholic parenting on Greg and Lisa Popcak’s radio program More2Life. Her understanding of what it means to be an intentional Catholic parent continually grows and evolves.
A homeschool mom to four children, Kim enjoys a family-centered lifestyle balanced by service to her parish and homeschool community. She teaches writing and literature to many homeschooled children, and she hosts about 1000 playdates a week (at least it feels like it!). She also (sometimes . . . ) writes a family homeschooling blog at www.firstheralds.com. In her free time, Kim enjoys sewing, reading, and organizing stuff.
Kim is a licensed attorney and a member of the California State Bar. She holds a B.A. in English from Wellesley College, an M.Phil. in Medieval Literature from Oxford University, a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University, and a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley. Despite all this fancy education, she finds herself saying and doing dumb things on a regular basis. She’s not sure if this is a commentary on her or on higher education, but if you ask her she will just offer you a cup of coffee. You may contact Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org
